Well child visits are a key component in monitoring the overall health of your child.

These appointments are a time to track growth and development, discuss nutrition, administer immunizations, offer preventive services, and raise any concerns you may have regarding your child’s health. The schedule below outlines the ages at which your child will be due for a visit according to the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines.

  • Newborn visit (3 to 5 days old)
  • 2 weeks old
  • 2 months old*
  • 4 months old*
  • 6 months old*
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old*
  • 15 months old*
  • 18 months old*
  • 2 years old (24 months)
  • 2 ½ years old (30 months)
  • 3 years old
  • 4 years old*
  • 5 years old
  • Continue annual visits until 18 years of age!

**Immunizations are also given at 11 and 16 years of age. Flu vaccines are offered at every visit during flu season starting at 6 months of age.
